The First Lutheran Foundation was established in 1985. The Foundation receives gifts and expends earnings to complement and supplement the ministry of First Lutheran Church. Growing gifts for reaching out describes how the Foundation seeks to support extraordinary educational, charitable, and religious purposes.

We are proud of our accomplishments . . .
Our nine-member Board of Directors currently manages fund balances of over $4.3 million. The investment earnings of the Foundation provide resources for programs in housing for the elderly, parish nurse ministry, college and seminary scholarships, family and youth Bible Camp experiences, matching funds for capital expenditures, and foreign mission support.
. . . and invite you to share in growing gifts . . .
You may direct your tax deductible gift to a Foundation ministry that is meaningful to you. Remember, the gift you give is not spent; it is preserved and invested so that ongoing income supports a variety of special ministries forever!
. . . for reaching out.
The vision of the Foundation is to pursue creative, meaningful ministry beyond those typically provided by the congregation. Your gift will assist the
Foundation to reach out to the elderly and their families, support our youth, promote Christian education, and expand support of foreign missions.
The current investments of the Foundation fund many wonderful ministries, yet we would like to be able to support additional initiatives. In order to do this, the Foundation needs to grow by 50%. We are just beginning! We invite you to share the joy of giving and to be part of growing gifts for reaching out! |
